President of DARA Group

Samotkal Eduard Viktorovich was born on August 9, 1972 in the city of Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk Region, in the family of workers. Nationality – Ukrainian.

Education – financier.
2003 – graduated from European University for Finances, Information Systems, Management and Business, speciality - Finances.
2004 – was granted a master degree of Krivoy Rog Technical University, Faculty of Economics;
2007 – was awarded an academic degree of candidate of economic sciences (Ph.D.), Inter-Regional Academy for Personnel Management (MAUP).

He began his labor activity in 1995;
In business activity since 1999;
In the late 90ies, he established and became director of Rudsnab company (Krivoy Rog), which became soon the leading trader at the Ukrainian iron ore market..
Awards of the company:
Prize-winner of the rating “The Best Companies of Ukraine”, Kiev, 2005;
International award “Best Trade Name”, New Millennium Award, Madrid, 2006;
National business-rating "Leader of the Branch - 2006".
In 2002, the company “Trade House “Komplekt” was established, and he led it too.
Since 2006, he is the President of Investment Production Holding “Dara Group”
In 2003-2004, he occupied the position of the President of Rugby Federation of Ukraine;
In November 2005, he entered the political party “Narodnyy Soyuz “Nasha Ukraina”, deputy of the Krivoy Rog City Council of the fifth convocation;
Currently, he is the chairman of the “Narodnyy Soyuz “Nasha Ukraina” group in the Krivoy Rog City Council;
Knows English and French;
He was awarded the order of St. Nicolas the Miracle-Worker of II and III Class.
 
Hobbies: piano, dachenquan gymnastics.
Married, brings up three sons.
