Dara Group invests actively in development of Ukrainian sports. Specifically, it gives an active financial support to rugby clubs “Aviator” (Kiev) and “Gornyak” (Krivoy Rog) and boxing club “Triumph”.
Soon, it is planned to open boxing clubs in Odessa with significant support by Dara Group.

Rugby club “Aviator”
is a rugby club with 45 years’ history. It was three times the bronze medalist of Ukraine championships in 1992, 1993 and 1994. Saying about rugby in Ukraine, fans connect this sport with the team “Aviator”. It is one of the most titled teams of the country and constantly supplies players to national teams; “Aviator” has its own game style and school (in common and figurative sense). The team was created on the basis of rugby group in the Civil Aviation Engineer Institute in 1963. Since 1971, the team played in the major league of the USSR championship. The Ukraine championship under the auspices of independent Rugby Federation of Ukraine has been organized since 1992. 6 major league teams and 12 minor league participate in the championship. Since 1996, the club management focused mainly on its youth team, which was the winner of the minor league of Ukraine championship in 1996, 1998, 2000, 2001 and 2002. During its existence, the club “Aviator” has trained over 470 masters of sports, 13 merited masters of sports and 8 merited coaches of Ukraine.

Boxing club “Triumph”
 
was established in 1996 by today’s Honorary President of the club Eduard Samotkal and President of the board of trustees Vladislav Binder. The founders of the club focused not only on physical training of children – members of the club, but also on their spiritual development and formation of their personalities. Boxing club “Triumph” was the first boxing club in Krivoy Rog. During ten years of the club existence, 5 “Triumphators” joined the ranks of masters of sports, and 15 became candidate masters. Currently, Triumph’s material and technical base is considered one of the best in Ukraine for training boxing reserves, which promotes successful performances of sportsmen both in Ukraine and in the international arena.
